I Balzini Pink Label, a rosé wine full of passion

Antonella D’Isanto, an admirer of rosé, developed I Balzini Pink Label with enologist Barbara Tamburini. The wine combined a Sangiovese base with a smaller proportion of Merlot. Grapes were harvested according to phenolic ripeness, followed by gentle pressing and brief processing to obtain the intended pink colour. The estate also retained older vintages to observe the rosé’s evolution. Antonella represented the wine at the Donne del Vino association’s Sorrento Rosé event.
