Cuvée Aurora Blanc de Blancs completes the Alta Langa range

Banfi introduced Cuvée Aurora Blanc de Blancs as the final component of its Alta Langa family. The release continued a project that began in the early 1990s and produced the first Cuvée Aurora vintage in 1997 before expanding through Rosé, Riserva 100 Mesi and Blanc de Noirs.

The new wine is made entirely from Chardonnay grown on the calcareous-clay, tuffaceous-marl soils of the Alta Langa hills. It is a pas dosé Metodo Classico matured on the lees for 60 months. Its label follows the Liberty-inspired visual language of the wider Alta Langa line, conceived as a meeting of art and nature. Banfi president Rodolfo Maralli described Blanc de Blancs as completing the only remaining stylistic position in the range and strengthening Banfi’s role in premium sparkling wine.
