About this wine
Vinification
The three varieties are vinified separately. Fermentation occurs naturally, without temperature control, in old and very old oak barrels, some of which are 20 years old. In April or May of the following year, the wines are combined in a single barrel and allowed to rest. Bottling follows the phases of the Moon while fermentation is still under way; it then continues in the bottle.
Ageing
Following Lino Maga’s principle that wine should mature in bottle rather than in wood, the 2020 vintage is expected to reach peak maturity between 2022 and 2040.
