The old vineyard at Monfumo changed the family's conception of Asolo Prosecco. Its steep slopes, age and surviving mixture of Glera with old local varieties encouraged a wine in which Asolo and the vineyard's identity would take precedence over a generic idea of Prosecco.

The first project used the 2017 vintage and underwent 16 months on fine lees, 18 months in autoclave and one year in bottle. It was conceived both to recover the value of traditional white varieties and to challenge the treatment of this sparkling-wine category as primarily price-driven.
