Vinitaly 2026: research, identity and new expressions

The programme began at OperaWine on 11 April and continued at Vinitaly from 12 to 15 April. Guided tastings focused on identity, sustainability and the connection with Franciacorta. The major research presentation was a 100% Erbamat expression developed after years of experimentation. The native grape’s natural acidity and freshness are being investigated as useful characteristics under climate change, combining the recovery of local genetic heritage with contemporary environmental adaptation.
