Wine is a Contemporary Story: an immersive experience at Buonivini

The 16 June program was designed to move beyond a conventional tasting and examine wine as contemporary narrative, performance and cultural language. The morning discussion, Contemporary Wineries, brought together Roberta Ceretto, Arturo Pallanti, Tiziana Frescobaldi and Alessio Planeta. The afternoon session addressed natural wine, dealcoholized wine, new beverages and changing production and communication through contributions from Arianna Occhipinti, Diva Moretti Polegato, Cristina Busi Ferruzzi, Cecilia Carbone and Niklas Foradori.

The evening combined a guided Costellazioni d’Arte tour, wines from participating producers and a Planeta Music Session. It also marked the official opening of Costellazioni d’Arte and the unveiling of a new Vanessa Beecroft work created in dialogue with Buonivini’s landscape and history. The day concluded with the drafting and presentation of the Manifesto of Contemporary Wine.
