Land and Maps: interactive section
The interactive Land and Maps project was developed to communicate the pedoclimatic complexity of vineyards distributed across different parts of the Euganean Hills. It distinguishes an “Estate,” meaning a group of vineyards in one area, from a “Vineyard,” meaning an individual planted variety or parcel.
Users can explore a three-dimensional representation of villages, hills, woodland and cultivated land. Estate cards contain technical and descriptive information, while layers switch among a general base map, vineyard locations and lithology. Weather sections provide current conditions and historical rainfall, temperature and humidity records, allowing climatic vintages to be compared. The long-term goal is to build an increasingly comprehensive collection for professionals, enthusiasts and visitors.
