Reflections on a challenging year: our 2025

The 2025 growing season was the third wet year in succession, requiring sustained work to maintain healthy grapes. Overall quantity and quality were strong, although botrytis forced the loss of a Pinella vineyard on Monte Venda. Marco Zanovello also reflected on pressures extending beyond agriculture: burdensome relations with public institutions, digital bureaucracy poorly suited to complex mixed hillside farming and an uncertain wine market. Despite those institutional and commercial difficulties, he concluded that the wines of 2025 had developed successfully.
