La Pietra del Cabreo apre le sue porte

La Pietra del Cabreo revived an old rural settlement in the vineyards surrounding Greve in Chianti. The project retained continuity with the surrounding landscape and original building methods while employing local artisans and materials.

The relais contains 11 rooms and suites decorated with natural linen, warm-coloured textiles, oak, wrought iron, antique-market paintings, marble and Cotto dell’Impruneta floors. Its gardens include field maples, cypresses, ash trees and a rose garden. Shared outdoor spaces include a vineyard pool with views towards Florence and a private tennis court. Breakfast is served on the property, while dinner on the terrace reinterprets Tuscan dishes in a modern form.

Pietra del Cabreo and Borgo del Cabreo connect accommodation with the vineyards and the estate’s Supertuscan identity. Guests can arrange personalised tastings as well as walking and cycling excursions, guided tours, balloon flights, truffle hunting, cooking classes and painting classes.
