Vendemmia 2025: un’ottima annata e di grande qualità
The 2025 harvest concluded with the first grapes for the company’s historic Supertuscans entering the new Tenute del Cabreo cellar. Giovanni Folonari described the crop as balanced in both quality and quantity and expected it to produce elegant, harmonious and ageworthy wines.
The growing season experienced relatively few extreme events. During the final stage of ripening, the fruit benefited from pronounced differences between daytime and nighttime temperatures. Vineyard and cellar teams selected picking dates separately according to the needs of each label.
Oenologists Roberto Potentini and Raffaele Orlandini directed a harvest lasting at least three months. White grapes at Greve in Chianti and Bolgheri were the first to be picked in August; the sequence ended in October with Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon from the Greve estates, including Tenute del Cabreo. The new cellar combines traditional references with advanced winemaking technology.
