About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from Cipriana’s vineyards in Tuscany.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness and placed in small crates. After gentle pressing, the must settles naturally for 24 hours at 10 °C. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel vats for about 15 days at a controlled 18 °C. Malolactic fermentation is prevented.
Ageing
The wine remains in steel tanks until bottling.
Serving and pairing
Suitable as an aperitif and with fish or seafood dishes.
Vintage notes
The 2020 growing season in Tuscany was unusually warm and dry. A mild winter gave way to a spring with sunny days and light showers. The hot, dry summer brought the grapes rapidly to phenolic ripeness, while cool nights preserved their acidity and bright aromatic profile. Harvest took place in good weather at the end of September, with grapes of excellent quality.
