Harvest 2023: A Definitive Assessment

A rainy spring put vine health under substantial pressure, requiring careful management of phytosanitary interventions. This work limited damage and preserved the potential of the crop.

Summer temperatures remained mild and avoided extreme heat spikes, allowing ripening to proceed smoothly and enabling precise harvest timing. The varieties were collected in their traditional sequence. The fruit showed a strong balance between technological maturity and phenolic maturity.

The vintage was the first certified-organic harvest for the company as a whole; Colle Brezza had already held organic certification for more than ten years.
