Sagrantino Memoira is born: a new name for Montefalco Sagrantino Còlpetrone

The 2013 vintage of Còlpetrone’s established Montefalco Sagrantino received a new name and visual identity without a change to the underlying wine. The project aimed to make the label more recognisable while connecting sensory experience, the estate’s past and its future.

Memoira brings together the Italian memoria, the French mémoire and the Greek Moira. The initial “me” introduces a personal dimension, while the complete name links memory, terroir and destiny. Gold tones were added to the label, with its black edging retained.
