Tasting the fine wines of Montefalco: a unique experience at the Còlpetrone Estate

Marco Castignani places Sagrantino at the centre of Còlpetrone’s identity and describes the variety as the principal wine of its territory. Visits begin with the vineyards and continue through the winery, barrel room and maturation areas. Explaining the territory, production and Còlpetrone’s place in the appellation is treated as an essential part of every experience.

The tasting takes place around the circular counter in the modern wine shop. Packages can be customised and may present Montefalco Rosso, Grechetto, Memoira and Sacer, accompanied by local foods and extra-virgin olive oil. Cellar and barrel-room visits are available by reservation.
