Wine quality: Tenute del Cerro certifies the management of its operating models

The project built on ISO 9001 quality management and included Còlpetrone alongside the group’s other estates and production centres. In 2022, the social-management system achieved SA8000 certification, covering compliance with labour rights, employment rules and applicable international conventions.

Environmental protocols addressed water optimisation, renewable energy, wastewater monitoring, waste management and carbon-equivalent emissions. The Le Cerraie logistics centre, inaugurated in 2022, concentrated principal bottling and packaging operations and introduced controls including monitoring wine temperature during transport. Michela Mazzetti presented the certifications as tools for measurable processes and continuing improvement.
