Versoterra | Earthwards at Dispensa

Versoterra | Earthwards brought artists and scholars out of galleries and academies to engage with the visible effects of the climate emergency in an agricultural landscape. The programme paired a climate-focused discussion in the family’s vine-and-wine library at Dispensa with Ignazio Mortellaro’s site-specific installation Corpo fragile at Casina dell’Ulmo.

Valentina Bruschi curated the project and Vito Planeta coordinated it. Partners included Radiceterna Arte e Ambiente, Fondazione Merz, ZACentrale, Suq Magazine and Meeraqui. The initiative formed part of the Iter Vitis itinerary and coincided with Menfi’s year as Città Italiana del Vino 2023.
