Nonino Prize 50 Paris

The Paris event traced the prize to the first drop of Grappa Cru Monovitigno® Picolit and the family’s desire to demonstrate Grappa’s potential. That project led to an award initially intended to save and secure recognition for endangered native Friulian grapes. It subsequently developed into an international cultural institution whose selections preceded six Nobel laureates. Members of the jury, former winners and the family gathered in Paris to extend the prize’s tradition of encounter and exchange.
