Cantine Aperte, Discovering the World of Donnafugata

For the 26 May event, Donnafugata organised tours, wine-and-food tastings, music and masterclasses across its Sicilian sites. In Marsala, visitors began in the nineteenth-century family cellars, which retain their Mediterranean courtyard plan, before continuing to the underground barrique room. A Chiarandà masterclass examined the 2007, 2010 and 2021 vintages in magnum format. The programme also drew attention to the recently inaugurated Wine Museum in Palazzo Fici, Via XI Maggio 32.
