Exploring Nero d’Avola, Our Harvest Story

The 2017 harvest project focused on Nero d’Avola and the way a single native variety expresses different Sicilian territories. Twenty international ambassadors were selected to accompany the initiative.

An antique map of Sicily represented the project’s geographical framework, with colored sections marking Menfi, Vittoria, Noto and Capo Milazzo. The comparison emphasized agricultural, historical and cultural differences between the territories. In Vittoria, Nero d’Avola from Dorilli contributes to both Dorilli Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico and Cerasuolo di Vittoria.
