About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the Valpolicella area around Mezzane, at an altitude of 200–250 m.
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes are crushed and undergo cold maceration and spontaneous fermentation. The wine remains in a steel tank until pomace from Amarone produced in the same vintage is added, initiating a second fermentation.
Ageing
The wine ages for 18 months in French oak barriques.

Rich and well structured.
Serving and pairing
Pairs with flavourful pasta dishes, boiled meats, red-meat dishes and mature cheeses.
