Fata Nascim, Feudi del Pisciotto’s solidarity label

Fata Nascim takes its name from an Arab-medieval expression in Niscemi’s toponymic and legendary tradition, interpreted as “Fairy of the wind” or “Fairy of the gentle breeze.” The project was conceived as a gesture of closeness and renewal for the town. Paolo Panerai linked the initiative to gratitude for the community where the estate’s wine and hospitality project began after his acquisition and restoration of the abandoned Branciforte property in the 1990s.

Mayor Massimiliano Valentino Conti welcomed the project and the commitment to allocate proceeds to reconstruction. The announcement also recalled the estate’s recognition on 12 July 2025 as a Luogo della memoria: American paratroopers fought a column of approximately 700 men there during the German occupation of Sicily, leaving visible marks on the Palmento walls.
