Wine Relais opened its 2018 season with a new programme

The 2018 season opened with a gala at Il Palmento di Feudi. Christian De Simone took over the restaurant, bringing experience from several Italian regions and a menu built around Sicilian seafood, vegetables and dairy products interpreted with contemporary techniques.

A panoramic pool with a 360-degree view over the vineyards was added. The ten-room Relais occupied a restored wing of the Palmento, combining the historic Baglio with local crafts, Caltagirone ceramics and Italian design. The hospitality and new winery buildings formed part of an integrated landscape project around the original 18th-century agricultural complex.
