About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in Grisì, Monreale, Sicily, on clay soils. Feudo Disisa’s vineyards extend across approximately 150 ha divided into nine microzones with differing exposures, slopes and elevations. Temperature variation, abundant sunshine and good ventilation create distinct microclimates. The average yield is 70 quintals per hectare.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and carefully selected. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 15–16 °C.
Ageing
The wine ages in stainless-steel tanks for six months, followed by at least 60 days in the estate’s cellars after bottling.
