2025 Chianti Classico harvest

The 2025 growing season began with a mild winter, followed by a regular spring with well-distributed rainfall that supported phenolic ripening. Two brief summer heatwaves were moderated by cool nights and wide temperature differences, helping preserve natural acidity. Canopy management prevented sunburn, and disease control proceeded without major problems during flowering and fruit set. Grape berry moth was more demanding but was contained through organic integrated-control methods.

Fruit reached harvest healthy and mature, with loose bunches and thicker skins than in preceding vintages. The Sangiovese for Fico and Per Filo was picked on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 September. The occasion marked exactly ten years of the harvest gathering that reunites the Corsini family and Filippo’s friends around his project.
