Chianti Classico harvest 2020: an excellent vintage for Principe Corsini wines

The 2020 season delivered grapes considered strong in both quantity and quality. Duccio Corsini, agronomist Laura Lenzi and cellar manager Claudio Giglioni determined harvest timing through technical analysis and grape tasting.

After the earlier estate harvests, work moved to the vineyards serving Fico Wine. Sangiovese was picked for the organic and biodynamic Fico and Per Filo wines. The harvest continued the project’s social and commemorative tradition, with the Corsini family and Filippo’s friends gathering to participate.
