Per Filo 2017: score 97 out of 100 from Doctor Wine

Doctor Wine presented its Essential Guide to Italian Wine 2020 in Milan on 29 September 2019. Per Filo 2017, then the first and only commercially available vintage, received 97 points out of 100 and was included among the guide’s leading wines.

Elena Corsini accepted the recognition at Palazzo Castiglioni. Her participation extended beyond representation: she was involved in every production stage and active in communication and promotion. The family confirmed that Fico and Per Filo would continue in accordance with Filippo’s ideas, combining biodynamic practice, harmony with the environment and materials such as recycled paper for the labels.

Per Filo originated at roughly 270 metres in Gugliaie. At that point, 1,800 bottles had been produced.
