The first Vino Florio

Presented at Vinitaly 2023, Vino Florio made available a wine that had always existed inside the Marsala process but had previously remained within the cellars. Coastal Grillo is taken to overripeness, pressed energetically in a traditional press and fermented in concrete with irregular oxygenation. The resulting high-alcohol, unfiltered white wine is bottled before fortification. The initial release comprised 15,000 750 ml bottles at 14.5% alcohol.
