Wine tourism at Cantine Florio: a new way to experience Marsala

Cantine Florio receives more than 50,000 visitors annually, including a growing international audience, particularly from the United States and United Kingdom. Although April through October is the busiest period, visits continue throughout the year. Tours are organised in three parts: history, oenology and tasting. Guests encounter giant vats, barrels of different dimensions and approximately 5.5 million litres of Marsala in evolution. Night tastings, masterclasses and annual cultural events are intended to diversify the experience and support year-round tourism in Marsala and Trapani province.
