About this wine

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand. Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot ripen at the same time and are vinified together; Merlot is picked slightly earlier and Sangiovese later. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, with frequent pumping over and stirring. The components are blended after malolactic fermentation is complete.

Ageing

The wine matures for one year in 225-litre French oak barrels, followed by further ageing in concrete tanks.
