Langhe Country House: hospitality through the hills and collaboration in the territory

Langhe Country House occupies the restored late-19th-century Podere Palaretto farmhouse in Neive. Its seven individually designed rooms retain exposed stone, timber beams and original architectural details while adding a garden, panoramic pool and reservable spa.

Owners Nadia and Alessandro described wine as a thread running through the stay, from welcome drinks and bottles in rooms to winery recommendations and a cellar of Piedmontese wines. Francone is included in the wine list and recommended to guests through its Classic Tasting, with Barbaresco Gallina identified as the wine most closely aligned with the property’s Neive identity.

The interview also connected spring visits with vineyard walks, cycling, historic villages, cellar visits and a slower rural pace. The property’s hospitality model emphasizes local products, practical assistance and a balance between historic character and modern comfort.
