Tasting profile
The latest published assessment describes an intense, luminous salmon-pink colour and a fine, persistent stream of bubbles. Red berries and hibiscus shape the restrained bouquet. The palate is more expressive, combining elegant mousse with freshness, tension and a long, gently saline finish.
Other published assessments reveal additional facets of the non-vintage cuvée: rose, pomegranate, Alpine herbs, strawberry, blood orange and star anise; blackberry, white pepper, mentholated herbs and stony salinity; and, in another tasting, orange zest, acacia honey and a light nutty note. Bright acidity, light to firm powdery tannins and a lively, fine mousse give the wine structure and energy.
