About this wine

Vinification

A blend of Alpine and rare exotic herbs is infused in alcohol, then added to a specially prepared wine base. Production follows the House of Gancia’s traditional recipe, whose precise composition remains secret.

Label / history

Carlo Gancia founded the House of Gancia in 1850 and created Italy’s first white vermouth. The house was granted the right to use the Italian monarchy’s coat of arms after becoming exclusive supplier to the royal court in 1870. It later received the right to use the papal coat of arms when it became a Vatican supplier in 1924 and was named an official supplier to the Swedish royal court in 1951.
