The Giordano cellar at Torricella: passion and wine

Giordano’s expansion into Puglia was motivated by the belief that certain varieties show their identity most successfully when handled close to their native environment. Torricella in Salento was selected in 1998 as a base for exploring and selecting southern Italian grapes, complementing the production centred at Valle Talloria. The facility became especially associated with Puglia and Primitivo while also providing access to the broader wines of southern Italy. Hot summers, the nearby sea and cooling coastal breezes form the environmental setting described around the cellar.
