Sparkle Day 2019

Sparkle Day was held on 1 December at Rome’s Westin Excelsior Hotel for the presentation of Sparkle 2019, a guide to Italian dry sparkling wines. Giribaldi’s Metodo Classico 38 Months Alta Langa DOCG 2014 received five spheres. The event included an awards conference and a tasting of more than 200 wines from 62 wineries. The guide selected 791 labels after more than 2,000 tastings and granted its maximum five-sphere award to 70 wines.
