A four-continent digital tasting with Antonio Galloni and Alessandro Cellai

A Global Digital Tasting was announced for 16 April 2020 at 14:00 Italian time, linking participants across four continents. Antonio Galloni and Alessandro Cellai were to lead the presentation and discussion of new vintages from the four Domini Castellare di Castellina estates. Gurra di Mare was represented by Tirsat 2018, the event’s only white wine. Connections were scheduled for 08:00 in the United States, 14:00 in Italy and 20:00 in China. The initiative revived a format first used by the group five years earlier and responded to the suspension of conventional wine fairs during the health emergency. Participation was initially reserved for 200 newsletter subscribers.
