La viticoltura in altitudine

High-altitude viticulture is presented as both demanding and rewarding because it can produce grapes combining quality with freshness. Flavio selected a Val d’Illasi site above 500 m, surrounded by woodland and rich in biodiversity. Strong day–night temperature changes give the grapes distinctive aromatic qualities, including crispness and refined fruity and peppery notes. Flavio considered the site suitable for a wine of complexity and longevity from the moment he first saw it. The family was waiting patiently for the young vines to develop, confident in the vineyard’s potential.
