About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Merlot grows on terraces in Lamole, where the local terroir gives it a distinctive expression.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in mid-September. They undergo a gentle ten-day maceration in small stainless-steel tanks to extract colour and aromas.
Ageing
The wine matures for 18 months in 500-litre French oak barrels, followed by three months in bottle.
Tasting profile
Elegant, harmonious and full-bodied, with balanced complexity.
Label / history
Produced only in selected years and in very limited quantities. Each bottle is individually numbered.
