Harvest 2023: a definitive assessment

The 2023 season covered the company’s vineyards in Massa Marittima, Radda in Chianti and Pienza and marked its first certified-organic vintage. Heavy spring rain challenged vine health. Careful phytosanitary management reduced the resulting damage and established the basis for a successful crop.

Summer remained mild and avoided extreme heat spikes. Ripening therefore progressed steadily, enabling the harvest to be timed accurately. The varieties were collected in their traditional sequence, and the grapes showed a strong balance between technological and phenolic maturity.
