About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are hand-harvested from a 3.5 ha vineyard on Foscarino hill in Monteforte d'Alpone. The 20-year-old vines stand at 150 m above sea level, face south and south-west, and grow in volcanic soils rich in basalt.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place partly in acacia barrels.
Ageing
The wine matures for nine months in barriques.
Label / history
English architect and artist Nicholas Wood created most of Inama’s wine labels. Inspired by classical art, he experimented with the work of artists and architects using modern technology.
