Tempo di Bellezza / Time of Beauty
Art in the vineyard amphitheatre
Tempo di Bellezza presented works by Daniela Vignati and Andrea Piccinelli within the cascina and the surrounding amphitheatre of vineyards. The event framed the farmhouse, landscape and artworks as a shared environment devoted to beauty and contemplation. It opened on two February weekends, with Saturday sessions from 14:00 to 17:00 and Sunday sessions from 10:30 to 12:30 and 14:00 to 17:00.
Daniela Vignati
Born in Milan, Vignati entered the arts at a young age while collaborating with sculptor Omar Ahmed Ali’ in a metalworking studio producing furnishings and jewellery. She also attended the Anthroposophical Art School, where she developed an understanding of artistic practice as a means of personal growth and social art. She has led painting seminars for adults and children, combining sustained study with personal research in the visual arts. Her later work includes fashion filmmaking and video installations. She has exhibited in Italy and abroad, and her work is held in European collections.
Andrea Piccinelli
Born in Turin, Piccinelli grew up in contact with prominent Turin artists. He attended the Liceo Artistico Vittorio Veneto and studied graphic arts and printing. His work has encompassed advertising graphics, animation, stage design, theatre, lighting direction, landscape design, sculpture, painting and poetry. He briefly directed a cinema and a European Community hostel and worked with Turin’s Hiroshima cultural association and its Nagasaki exhibition space. His collaborations include Armando Testa, Giugiaro, Pininfarina, Lindsay Kemp and Peter Gabriel. His projects and travels have taken him to cities across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
