La Collina dei Ciliegi: 53 hectares of wine tourism

Ca' del Moro Wine Retreat reopened after the enforced shutdown with an integrated summer programme across La Collina dei Ciliegi's 53-ha estate. The property stood at 500–700 m in Erbin, 17 km from Verona's historic centre.

Guided activities included horse riding, e-bike and walking excursions through Valpantena, quad tours, helicopter outings, gourmet vineyard picnics and cellar tastings extending to Amarone verticals and samples drawn directly from barrel.

Accommodation comprised six suites named Amarone, Valpolicella, Recioto, Ripasso, Garganega and Corvina, plus a glamping tent with a solarium on the roof of the barrel cellar. The restaurant was open to the public and then led by chef Gabriele Pace.

The retreat had received Touring Club's 2019 “Stanze italiane” recognition, awarded to four Italian properties that year. It also belonged to the Veronelli Guide's Grandi Vini circuit and Eccellenze italiane and participated in Repower's Ricarica 101 network for hospitality businesses with electric-car and e-bike charging points.
