Ruffino acquires 15 hectares in the prestigious Bolgheri wine area

Ruffino acquired 15 ha in the Bolgheri wine-growing area in 2023, strengthening its connection with Bolgheri DOC. The property’s first harvest was planned for that year, with the initial objective of producing exclusively Bolgheri Rosso Superiore.

The project was intended to showcase the Bolgheri terroir through structured, silky wines while preserving Tuscan elegance. The acquisition also completed Ruffino’s presence across Tuscany’s principal wine-growing areas and represented a further step in its ambition to become an international reference point for high-prestige Tuscan wines.
