About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from 17-year-old vines.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in the second half of September after careful selection for quality and character. Vinification includes 20 days of skin maceration, alcoholic fermentation in stainless-steel vats and malolactic fermentation in barriques.
Ageing
The wine matures for 16 months in new French oak barrels. Extended cellaring develops greater bouquet complexity and depth.
Label / history
Production of the 2017 vintage was limited to 1,812 bottles.
