About this wine

Vineyard and terroir

The grapes are grown around Panicale. The La Fiorita estate stands between the southern shore of Lake Trasimeno and the medieval town of Panicale, on the border of Umbria and Tuscany. Its vineyards cover 32 hectares of the approximately 100-hectare estate. Clay-limestone soils and a mild climate, with warm summers and cool nights, allow slow ripening.

Grapes

The Luxe Collection uses selected grapes.

Vinification

Fermentation includes 12–14 days of skin maceration, developing structure and soft tannins.

Ageing

The wine matures for six months in French oak tonneaux. The oak gives the palate greater roundness, gentle spice and structure without pronounced woody flavours.

Tasting profile

Balanced and elegant, with aromas of red berries, ripe plum and light spice. The profile is soft, harmonious, approachable and polished.

Serving and pairing

Suitable for everyday meals.

Label / history

Ferruccio Lamborghini founded the estate in the 1960s after leaving the automotive business and returning to his agricultural roots. His daughter, Patrizia Lamborghini, has managed it since the 1990s. Winemaker Riccardo Cotarella is also involved in the winery’s work. The Luxe Collection combines the brand’s traditional roots with a modern style.
