A Day in the Life

At 08:00, 25 team members—average age about 27—met at the changing rooms. David began by feeding the animals, Simone checked the barrels, and the main vineyard team led by Alessandro and Matteo organized tools and logistics.

During 2020–2021, office personnel spent half of each day in the vineyards before returning to administration and customer work. This cross-departmental arrangement arose from necessity but reinforced involvement and helped employees understand the whole estate. Winter activity centred on pruning and removing old canes, with team leaders explaining the purpose of each operation.

Cellar and warehouse staff joined the vineyard crew once their initial duties were complete. At about 17:00 the group exchanged summaries, while messages around 18:30 organized the following day in response to weather forecasts. Shared dinners, estate eggs and bottles from other regions and countries extended the culture of collective tasting and learning beyond formal working hours.
