About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
Ruchè is grown in only one region, on about 150 hectares in total. Ferraris tends its vines there with the aim of making the variety better known beyond Italy.
Vinification
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and lasts 10–15 days. Malolactic fermentation follows.
Ageing
The wine ages in stainless steel tanks. It is bottled without prior filtration and rests in bottle for a further 3 months.
Tasting profile
A light, youthful red.
