Spring in Mendoza: discover Finca El Paraíso
The journey begins along a tree-lined approach containing mature pines, lindens, araucarias, cedars, oaks and plum trees before reaching an English-style garden. Music, birdsong and a welcome glass introduce the family history.
Visitors then continue with an audio guide to the neoclassical residence that housed several Arizu generations. Its architecture includes restrained lines, dark joinery, numerous tall windows, high interiors, a black-and-white chequered porch and a central passage resembling a European winter garden.
The Raíces programme combines the estate, vineyards, wine, stories and family memories with a personalised lunch. Chef Pablo del Río devised several formats using local flavours, including a picnic, a long table among the vines and an intimate fireside meal. The estate’s spaces can also host private events and celebrations.
