Harvest at Madonna del Latte: A Labor of Love

After a year of vineyard work, a dedicated team moved through the rows for approximately three weeks from late August into early September. Every bunch was picked by hand, allowing the team to reject damaged or insufficiently ripe fruit before it reached the cellar. The gentle selection was intended to preserve the aromas and flavours of each variety. Harvest was also portrayed as a period of shared work, anticipation and renewed contact with the seasonal rhythms of the vineyard.
