A new website for the Terre Miroglio group’s Malgrà winery
The launch introduced Malgrà as the Mombaruzzo estate of the Terre Miroglio group and set out the history behind the modern winery. From the beginning of the twentieth century, the Bonfante and Chiarle families cultivated vineyards and sold grapes as earlier generations had done. They later joined forces to vinify their production, gradually establishing a prosperous local market based on trust and dependable quality.
Malgrà itself began in the mid-1990s. Giorgio Chiarle left the company shared with his Bonfante cousins and formed a new team to improve production, technical resources and commercialization. The project sought to compete throughout Italy and in export markets.
Its mission centered on the major wines of Piedmont. The range included Gavi DOCG, Moscato d’Asti DOCG, Brachetto d’Acqui, Nizza DOCG and several forms of Barbera d’Asti DOCG, alongside a broader selection involving Barolo, Barbaresco, Dolcetto and Arneis. Integrated farming, sustainable agriculture and estate-grown grapes formed part of the renewed identity.
