Crafted by hand, imbued with heart, crowned in glory
The hand holding a heart on the manor façade represents trust, sincerity and wine as the crown of the estate’s work. HAND denotes everyday wines founded on craft and the extensive manual labour of biodynamic viticulture. Each of approximately 270,000 vines is pruned individually with manual shears; around two thirds of young shoots are removed, remaining shoots are positioned between wires, and leaves and lateral shoots are managed to balance light, shade and ventilation.
HEART identifies single-site wines and family-associated cuvées shaped by passion, precision, elegance and complexity. CROWN is reserved for the oldest vines, strongest sites, lowest yields and finest selections. These wines are made only in sufficiently strong years, so individual vintages may be omitted.
